Peter Markush rocks – literally. Since the age of 5, he has performed on various instruments in classical, rock, bluegrass, and other genres. Music was a side hustle during his first career as a software engineer, but it eventually moved to center stage when he achieved his dream job of professional musician. Providing wedding ceremony music for over 500 couples taught Peter that superior service equals success.
When moving on to his current dream job as a REALTORⓇ, Peter discovered that his decades of lending confidence and reassurance to betrothed couples proved immensely helpful to people needing help with another big event – buying or selling a house.
Potential side benefits of working with Peter include a sampling of some of the world’s best artisanal chocolate and a live performance of your favorite song.
Peter has lived in Charlottesville since 1996 and holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering. Bicycling, hiking, and playing with tools occupy much of his free time. Peter is on the staff of the Mt. Zion First African Baptist Church in Charlottesville as the electric bass guitar player at their regular Sunday services. He lives in Belmont with his wife Laura, a public school teacher, and their skittish but adorable cat, Feather.
